We started day 2 of our Utah visit with a little Cafe Rio.
We have heard raving reviews. The kids sat and stared at the nachos in grim disappointment.
I admired all the colorful furniture and art.
Steve and I ate burritos, while longing for the irreplaceable Q'doba burritos.
And then I refilled my Dr. Pepper as we headed OUT!
We appeared to be happy with the food...but this was BEFORE we ate!
We ended up at The Utah Olympic park for a long FUN day!
It may appear that the girls were delightfully pleased with being pushed as little Princesses all day, but behold, little did Our Prince crew realize, Princesses LOVE standing for themselves and doing the walking!!!
And for a Mother who has perfected the art of self portraits, it would appear that the centering of the stroller was the only thing perfected here!
It would also appear that the entire crew upon the bob sled was SCREAMING...well, let it appear that way because the crazy woman behind the camera was asking them to look scared!
No need to appear brave here...Connor Aiden, and Daddy tackled a grueling obstacle course...Connor taking first place in the end! It was a BIG deal. Seriously, they had to be harnessed in case they fell the crazy heights on the mountainside as they balanced along small boards, climbed nets, and jumped from one wall to the next! It gave me the creeps just watching my little boys...in CROCS...tackle a course so big! I have little HEROS!
And here, I appear to be so happy...I AM NOT! I can put on a smile for most occasions; on this occasion, I was scared to death. I have never been on a ski lift. Mind you, it wasn't until we were 3/4 of the way up that I realized a handle bar came down to keep us a bit more safe. I held a squirming Maya and laughed in nervousness as Connor, so cool and calm, said, "This isn't scary at all!"
It would appear that we had a ton of fun on Day 2 in Utah...
WE DID!!!
