Oh boy....what a goofy bunch I have. After church ended, I picked up Aiden from the nursery. He had a little reminder to give the picture he had colored to his Daddy for Father's Day. (This is the same picture of a puppy dog that they have been coloring for the last four weeks!) So, we headed upstairs to meet Connor and Daddy before heading back downstairs. When we got upstairs, Aiden ran to Daddy, handed him the picture and said, "Happy Hallowees Day!" I started laughing so hard! He looked up at me with eyes wide as can be, and his little left hand cupped over his mouth. I bent over, and he said, "I said Happy Hallowees Day" in the most shocked and confused voice I have ever heard come out of Aiden's mouth. You see, usually, this would be an Aiden thing to do...on purpose, but today it came as a complete accident. It's quite cute when it happens on accident! Well Daddy, however it's said, we wish you a Happy Father's Day.....I know you would love more sleep and time and energy to do everything you must do right now....I wish I could give it to you. Thank you for all that you do!

Happy "Hallowees" Day

Happy Father's Day
Today, I am grateful to have my beautiful wife and two cute boys. I am grateful to be able to share this day with them. I wish Shane could be here too, but I'm sure he is near at times. I look forward to having a little addition to our family soon. I am grateful for that opportunity and the chance to work on being a better father. I am far from ideal, but try hard every day to learn and do a little better. I love my family with all my heart. They are the best gift I could receive on Father's Day. So dad, I guess I am my gift to you and vice versa. Thank you for being a good father; one who has given so much service and love to me and my family. Happy Father's Day!

The "other side" of Aiden
As Aiden's Birthday approached, he began to fall in love with the "green guy". Grandma caught on quickly and asked our permission to get him the Incredible Hulk ensemble for his special day; we consented, after all, he is only a child once. This is what we got. The sad part....he saw a preview for the new movie coming out and told Daddy, mid stream, "Daddy, turn that off....Daddy turn that off!" Apparently Hulk scared poor little Aiden; the new movie portrays Hulk a little less innocently than the old cartoon. Poor boy!

What an afternoon!
Crystal and I both had class today. I was done before her so I picked the boys up from my mom and headed home. Somebody pulled out in front of us at this point and did not even hear the horn when I blew it. It was an older person; need I say more? Then, we went to Wal-Mart to get more swim diapers for Aiden. He is our second son. Connor is the oldest, and Shane, who has since passed away, is our youngest up until now. Now Crystal is pregnant again after a long 14 months of trying to concieve after the loss of our Shane. She is as sick as ever, being about 9 weeks along. But, back to my story. Aiden fell asleep in the car so I got him out at Wal-Mart and carried him through the store. He stayed asleep the entire time and it was quite a chore walking around with an extra 30+ pounds in my arms. I myself have an extra 30 lbs or so in my mid section. You do the math. Its too much weight! Then, to top it off, when we got to the car again I realized that one of Aiden's Crocs had fallen off. It wasn't in the car as I had hoped. So back to the store we went while I lugged around all of that weight again retracing our steps. We didn't find the missing Croc. Maybe somebody else's kid lost a Croc the same size and figured they would keep that one. That was my adventurous afternoon. Now we are safe at home with the kids watching The Backyardigans while I take a breather.
Work in Progress!
I started working more on our blog which I created Friday night but did not do anything to. It is new to me and I am figuring out a lot on my own just playing with the features. It was fun to make a header for the page. I hope you like it. There is much more to come but for now I must go to bed. I am the last one standing and the alarm clock goes off early.
