What an afternoon!

Crystal and I both had class today. I was done before her so I picked the boys up from my mom and headed home. Somebody pulled out in front of us at this point and did not even hear the horn when I blew it. It was an older person; need I say more? Then, we went to Wal-Mart to get more swim diapers for Aiden. He is our second son. Connor is the oldest, and Shane, who has since passed away, is our youngest up until now. Now Crystal is pregnant again after a long 14 months of trying to concieve after the loss of our Shane. She is as sick as ever, being about 9 weeks along. But, back to my story. Aiden fell asleep in the car so I got him out at Wal-Mart and carried him through the store. He stayed asleep the entire time and it was quite a chore walking around with an extra 30+ pounds in my arms. I myself have an extra 30 lbs or so in my mid section. You do the math. Its too much weight! Then, to top it off, when we got to the car again I realized that one of Aiden's Crocs had fallen off. It wasn't in the car as I had hoped. So back to the store we went while I lugged around all of that weight again retracing our steps. We didn't find the missing Croc. Maybe somebody else's kid lost a Croc the same size and figured they would keep that one. That was my adventurous afternoon. Now we are safe at home with the kids watching The Backyardigans while I take a breather.

I love your blog! I am so excited to be able to have another connection to you guys whenever I want . . . well, as long as I have the computer. Hyrum lost his crocs on the way to the park (1mile) one day. On the way home we found one, and drove around to find the other, but couldn't find it. So, we bought more, just walmart brand, and he lost it at the zoo! Luckily we found it, but as wonderfully easy as those things seem, they are actually quite an inconvenience for stroller or carried kids. Good job shopping with a sleeping boy! Love ya!

Cool Blog! Good job! Bet just started one. I will look up the name of it and send it to you.

Hey,Hey,Hey! What's up with this "It was an older person; need I say more?" I think I fit in that category. Who taught you to drive a stick shift from NM to Logan UT? An older woman! A very patient one, I might add!
Yesterday I was sitting in the Gilbert Municipal Court room, supporting Bet as he paid his 250.00 speeding ticket. I taught him to drive a stick too, in the same truck with the Holy Ghost sounding alarms at me for not putting my seat belt on. I promised him I would not yell at him, but that I would be soft spoken and loving just like when Steve was learning. I didn't account for the fact that I was teaching him on an L.A. freeway at rush hour. This, even older, woman was a screaming lunatic! He still tells the story of how I promised him I would be nice to him like I was with Steve, but, "But, OH NO, I didn't get the Steve Fultz Treatment! I got yelled at!"

Anyway, "Good job Dad!" I hope that it was the Walmart brand of Croc. If not - I hope the next one is. Cindy-Rae
