A Time To....Cuddle!!!

Most days, we find an excuse to sit on the couch and cuddle!  These days, that excuse is Miss Lydia--she needs someone to hold her right?
The boys adore her and beg to hold her.  In these pictures, they fought prior, saying, "No, I want to hold her head" back and forth.  The older one got the honor!
But Aiden couldn't keep his hands away from her face.  He treats her with just as much love and gentleness as he does me...that makes for a kiss every hour, a hug every two hours, and a sweet little wink ever time we make eye contact!
I have my fair share of cuddle time; that is precisely why the laundry is backed up, the dishes drive me crazy, and the dining room table has become a hoarding ground for the boys stuff.  I wouldn't trade these moments for the world.

Daddy takes advantage of the cuddling as well.  He wouldn't be normal without a picture of him and our newest child sleeping together.
And sometimes, but rarely, you will see Miss Lydia laying peacefully by herself.  It's just too tempting to pick her up and cuddle for awhile.  She is quite a peaceful gal, as you can see!
Daddy received the luxury of feeding her a bottle this past week...doesn't happen too often with a nursing baby.  She took the bottle so well, and he was on cloud nine!

Wow. She is so beautiful. She reminds me so much of your baby pictures. It looks like you guys are treasuring the moments. It's too bad those household chores can be so stressful and demanding at times. BUT, Lydia will be walking before you know it and you'll have more time to get to the cleaning . . . then.

Thanks Sara. Yeah, it's hard to just get the basics done these days--I need to move to paper everything to save myself some time. Ever done that? I never have, don't know why. Paper clothes would be great!(Like paper dolls) Throw them away when you're done :) lol!!!

Actually, I do use a lot of paper plates. We get the big box from Costco. When we go shopping out there, you can just give me the money for them and it will last you a lot time. I do practically every lunch on paper. Sometimes dinner, if it's simple. Sometimes paper towels serve well for sandwiches. It helps a lot some days.

Well, I'd really like to have my share of cuddling! Perhaps my WHOLE night of dreams can lead me to cuddle her a little bit. Then I wouldn't be so angry that all I do is dream and never sleep! Oh the joys of pregnancy!! I'm so happy for you guys! She is absolutely beautiful!!

By the way - the paper comments don't sit so well with your cloth diapering sister! Imagine how much trash you'd have to haul upstairs- not fun! Just leave dirty dishes in the sink, that's better! j/k

Yeah Sunny--We take out way too much trash as it is, but when there are no dishes left in the cabinets, and no space on the counters for another dirty dish, I start to wonder why I put myself through the misery of dirtying every dish and then the added misery of cleaning each and every one BY HAND! You know my pain! YUCK!!! The trash thing....we need a king size/super size one--can't seem to get away from taking trash out every day as it is!

There's nothing better than cuddling a sleeping baby. Although sleeping with one is a close second :) Love the pictures. Your boys look like they're on cloud 9.
