Connor: Mommy the last time we were here, you nursed me huh?
Steve: Connor, you don't even know what that means.
Me: (Hearing Steve's non therapeutic message and using my new found therapeutic nursing lingo) Connor, tell me what you mean by that.
Connor: Remember when we were here, and you were a nurse with me?
(Trust me, Steve is much better at the nursing lingo that I...I have to really think about simplicity! Steve's better at it with patients...I'm testing it out on the kids randomly!)
Now Steve gets it, and I recall vividly the last time I rushed around campus with Connor, wobbling with Lydia in womb and accomplishing one task after another...for nursing school!
So, to set the record...we graduated!!! :) But...we still have three months of school to go!!! :( Steve and I were allowed to walk in the commencement ceremony on Thursday evening, but I am hesitant to post our "hat hair" pictures until August when we actually receive our diplomas. I will say this much though, Connor was thrilled as we walked to the car after the ceremony:
Connor: Mom, does this mean that was your last day of school? (Laughing and strolling so proudly with my cap on his head!)
Mom: Yep! (Not really hearing what he said) Oh...no hunny...I still have three months left, but I am almost done!
Confused? He was too!
Now, as you can see by the time, I am up late doing "nursing school" responsibilities...while you all sleep peacefully!

Oh, hang in there Crystal. Just think simply, like you said you have a hard time doing. It's all so much for you to have to take on . . . but you do it well and your children are wonderful--proof of your ability to handle a heavy load alongside Steve. Stay strong. You're doing so good and almost there. Love you.
Well this might sound a little early, but none the less I think it is fitting after all your hard work. CONGRATS!!! What a fun memeory to know you and Steve did it together. Hard, stressful, and even maybe painful at times, but none the less what a accomplishment! YOu guys are really too cute to me. I mean I know that at the end of the day it's just school, but the fact that you two did it together, held on, and took care of your cute family makes it that much more of a fairytale. Your life is a beautiful story, and I enjoy reading/hearing about all the moments as they pass you by. So even though you have 3 more months, let me just say good job, hang in there, and I can't wait to see the pictures!
Such an accomplishment - take in the light at the end of the tunnel and the congratulations!! It should be all down hill from here. Best of luck in the remaining months. How fun to have had your hubby working along side of you all this time. You are amazing.
What an awesome experience to have your children see you graduate from college. It's not the same when kids look back at pictures of you in a cap and gown. You and Steve have set the bar and the kids are sure to follow such a great example as you two. Congratulations to both of you!!! ***On a side note we had the Lancaster 3rd Ward Memorial Day picinic today. We were missing one special family to share in the festivities with us :) A few of us got talking and we talked about how much we missed your family in the ward and hoped you might come back our way again! I know many of us check the blog often to see how the Fultz's are doing and I must say we "Love It!". Please know that your family is thought of often and missed deeply in good old Lancaster County ;)
