Updates Galore!

Seems we're all being followed by "Moon Shadow's" this week! My Lydia, Steve's Connor and Aiden, and the best is for last. Read on!!!

Look at our Pretty Liddy...she is getting so big! She weighed in at her 4 month appointment (2.5 weeks overdue) at 15 lbs. 10 oz. and she was 26 inches long. Still out of the charts for height! It will be odd looking up to my girl, but appropriate never the less! My kids are greater than me!
Thought the boys looked cute swinging together!
Look at her! Big girl!

This week was the infamous letter parade in Mrs. Perla's Kindergarten class! Connor was proud to be Mr.D--I threw every D item together I could find! Years ago Steve was Mr.H--walking in Daddy's footsteps!
Aiden shared in the glory!
Wondering why the change of music? Turn the tunes up and read on! Connor came home with a little donkey yesterday. I asked him if everyone in his class got one, and he said no...that's all I got from him. That's all anyone can get from him after school! I searched and found this...a real picture of Moon Shadow, a donkey that was born on May 6th and named by Connor. The donkey's mother rejected him after birth and would not nurse the little babe, so he followed the farm owners around like a little shadow. Just so happens that Connor chose "Moon" to compliment their name of "Shadow".
So, the donkey will always be called "Moon Shadow" thanks to Connor. He has his own little Moon Shadow he nurses with a bottle (a bolt from his tool set) and places to sleep at night. We have a video of the real Moon Shadow and he is just adorable. What a fun Kindergarten memory!

What great memories! You're children are adorable, I wish I was around more to experience things with you guys... makes me sad! Hopefully we'll see eachother soon, if this baby ever decides to make a grand entrance...

I love that story about Connor. Hannah is so in awe over all that she sees Connor come home with--even though he doesn't say much about any of it, Hannah recognizes and adores. Lydia is getting so big. I really can't believe how big she looks, her features, in that picture with Steve. The boys swinging is an awesome picture!

Lydia is getting big. I'll be there with you in looking up to my children -in more ways than one :)
I love the picture of the boys swinging. It's always nice to be able to capture a memory.

I got to see your sweet Lydia today when your husband was rocking her out in the hall. She seriously looks like what you'd imagine the perfect baby to look like...such a doll! I bet you just can't get enough of her!

So sweet about the whole looking up to your children comment. I think all of us as mothers will be doing that in all kinds of ways. Such cute pictures and memeories to hold on to. It is always fun to see what you guys are up to, and what those little ones are doing! These are the moments aren't they? I live for the simple things with my kids, as I can tell you do too. They all look beautiful!
