Saturday September 24, 2011 was Connor's very special day! In this picture below, he was hiding the tattoo he stuck on himself that morning while he built a fire truck with Grandpa and Aiden at the local Lowes!

Years ago...12 to be exact...I never imagined the day I would see my oldest child fall into the waters of baptism. I always dreamed of being a mother, capable of teaching my children truths of their Lord, Jesus Christ; leading them into paths of righteousness in similitude of the One True Source. Connor is BEAUTIFUL, I have called him Beautiful Connor from day one. Each of my children have personal songs from me...little nursery lullabies designed to fit their innate personalities, and Connor's starts with that, "Beautiful Connor....Mommy does love you!"
We took this picture on our way to the chapel, right before he was changed into his pearly whites! He stands below with his Daddy; they are both so very handsome!
Grandpa and Grandma Fultz gave talks on Baptism and the Holy Ghost, and he was given a personalized set of scriptures from them as well. We sang, I love to see the Temple(his favorite song), Baptism, and When I am Baptized.
Do you see what I mean??? BEAUTIFUL CONNOR!!!

The baptism was sandwiched between many RS Conference meeting in the ward building. It was small in number; but all those in attendance were so important to us. Connor was so very proud as he stood with his sweet grin for pictures with his Daddy. He held my hand as we listened to the talks, and when the baptism was over and I was helping him change into his charming new suit, I asked him, "How do you feel Connor?" He smiled and said, "That was easy!" Dear boy...you are a chosen son of God; I love you so very much!

Aiden showed his true colors following the big event!

Grandpa and Grandma Fultz who traveled from lovely PA for Connor!

The boys...with Aiden to remind them that they will ALWAYS be BOYS! That's a good thing!

The girls...looking pure and pretty in such pretty whites!
Miss Lydia...you're even adorable with fingers smashing your nose!
And the food!!!! The donuts were intended to create the number 8...the sprinkle ones!

I made Connor a beautiful heirloom...hand-stitched...quilt. The border of clothes are all items from his baby and toddler years. There are outfits he wore when we lived in Logan UT..."Go Aggies", and then items I remember placing on his little body over and over again because they were my favorite. I could go through each one and explain the significance, I will with Connor someday! The outfit appliqued on was the one we took him home from the hospital in.

After thousands of stitches, over 40 hours of work, bleeding fingers, 2 weeks of late LATE nights, and lots of "Oops" and "Dang-its", I was able to present the quilt to Connor. How fitting, these years have been filled with all those thing I just mentioned--thousands of stitches, weaving his personal life experiences together, bleeding elbows hands and knees, late nights, and many "Oops" and "Dang-its" at the close of the day, coming from mine and Daddy's mouths. He had prayed one night as I was about to sit to work on it, "Please bless Mommy to finish her quilt", and when he found out that it was his on Saturday September 24th, his eyes grew wide, a little nervous twitch was seen , and he hugged me so tight! He then went and told Aiden...which didn't go over well; Aiden's time will come!
Beautiful Connor received the Holy Ghost as well. He was told that he should always listen to his mother, that she will never lead him astray. How fitting, as I had presented Connor and Daddy with "Strippling Warrior" matching tie tacs to wear together on their special day. The Strippling Warriors stated, in their righteousness, "We do not doubt, our Mother's knew it". As a matter of fact, after Connor was baptized and dressed, we took our seats in the room and awaited Daddy's handsome arrival. When Daddy came in, he hugged Connor; Connor pulled out his tie, and in sweet innocence and excitement looked his Daddy in the eye and said, "I'm wearing mine Daddy!" Daddy quickly pulled his out and pinned it to his tie to match his sweet pure son.

That was beautiful. I'm speechless and that rarely happens . . .
What a happy big family....
I'm so very happy for you, my dear friend.
Hope all the joy and the happiness will last forever
Congrats on the baptism, it is such an amazing time to be a mother. Its been so wonderful to watch this past year as Haylee has learned to recognize the spirit! I cannot wait for Dave to come home for Trent to be baptized.
I'm so happy for Connor and so honored that I was able to be there for this wonderful day! You have done an amazing job in raising your sweet boy!
