Yes, we celebrated Christmas around here! We enjoyed the beauty and magic of the season...more than ever! Only days before Christmas the three was empty, the kids were wondering where their gifts would come from, and I was waiting on an amazon order that had a few gift for them. The amazon order fell through, but the Lord never does! Grandma and Grandpa Fultz sent out a package for the kids, we had a handful of clothes for them, and a dear friend from work (Amy) said Santa came to her house and said that there were a bunch of good kids this year...and he sent her on a delivery errand. Of course, Santa delivered gifts for our outstanding children, and Mimi and Papa had gift galore for them on Christmas afternoon!
Santa packed Shane's stocking full of goodies for Mommy and Daddy! Guess he missed the memo that we were competing in a weight loss challenge!
He left Lego sets for the boys and dolls for the girls!
Maya played peek-a-boo with Daddy on Christmas morning!
And the boys explored their gift from Santa, in awe!
Lydia loved Christmas this year. She actually found that one of her favorite Christmas activities was watching Caillou's Holiday Movie on Sprout. She memorized the lines, sang the songs, and begged for the movie on a daily basis. I gave in to her pleas because the songs and stories made me feel like a child again!
Santa delivered a smurfs village Lego set to Amy...the sweet lady from work!
Did you happen to notice Aiden's two front teeth? It was classic to have lost both front teeth only weeks from Christmas!
The boys were more than grateful for the clothes we got them! They have inherited their Daddy's love of clothes! As we walked through Kohl's only days after Christmas to do some Birthday shopping for Daddy, Connor laced his arm into mine (in true gentleman fashion) and said, "Mommy, thank you so much for the clothes you got me for Christmas!" My heart filled with happiness as he exemplified the sweet innocent understanding that he always does; it was hard to focus on necessities for Christmas, and push off wants for our children, but they appreciated it! My kids are angels!
Grandma and Grandpa Fultz got Maya a purse with accessories, and Lydia got a play computer...which Maya tried to continuously steal from her sister through the days following Christmas!
When Maya finally opened her gift from Santa, she was overcome with happiness! Her biggest smile came across her face when she found out that she received her little hearts desire...a baby doll! She even looked back at her Daddy to confirm her joy!
He wasn't able to get the doll out fast enough for her liking!
Lydia loved her doll as well!
Lydia opened her clothes and came running to me with each item in her hand, exclaiming, "Look at all my cute clothes!"
They put their beautiful Christmas outfits on from Mimi and we visited my parents house for the afternoon!
Children make Christmas so fun!!! I love the excitement they bring into the day; I love my children, and I love Christmas so much!
